 With a reddened complexion coupled with being oblivious to the hysteria in her own voice, it was enough to clue him in that she was drunk. Though it was hard to identify just how much of it was inebriation, and how much was simply feeling when she began to break down in tears. Kit knew she was in the beginnings of a separation, but that was always the extent of it, as she never said much else. However it was clear that this had been affecting her more than she had led him and countless others to believe. How did she do it? How did she manage to mask the pain this was obviously causing her? 

 In the midst of turning away, he caught her by her wrist before pulling her close in a tight embrace. A move that for a second cause her to choke on her tears before they zeroed in on the crisp white shirt he was wearing. It didn’t seem like he minded much that her crying was making it wet, rather how much she was struggling to breathe as she did so. This was no typical break up; this had devastated her and it showed in the sounds of pain that left her body. It was the right thing to do, and was at least somewhat comforting to Sojin as she let herself give into that pain entirely, rather than be by herself.
